My name is Keisha Penn and I am the owner of Jay's Bakery. I have been baking for over 8 years now. You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you that i'm self taught by looking at my work. One day I just decided to start baking and look were I ended up. At the age of 22 I decided that I wanted to own my own bakery. I looked at my son and decided to name my business after him. In hopes to one day, that my son would be able to take over and run the business himself. Baking is my passion, most people think its funny when I tell them that baking relaxes me. Baking is a real stress reliver. As of right now I own a home based bakery. My ultimate goal is to own several storefronts in diffrent states. I'm very thankful for the blessing that I have received, its a wonderful gift to be able to make cakes. To me each cake is a new opportunity to create something special, something even more spectatcular than the last, a centerpiece, a memory. To me its not just cake, it's art.
